Your First Visit
Please arrive about 10 minutes early so that you have enough time to fill out a New Patient form. You can also fill out the form in advance to save yourself some time at your appointment.
Initial Examination
Your dentist will begin by reviewing your medical and dental history and completing a comprehensive dental exam. This will include a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any required X-rays.
Treatment Plan
Based on your history and examination, your dentist will develop a dental treatment plan for you. Your dentist will also take the time to answer any questions you have about your dental health and treatment options.
Insurance & Payment
At Lakeside Dental, we’re here to help you manage the financial side of your care. Our team will guide you through your payment and insurance options, answer any questions you may have, and help you find a solution that works for your budget so you can stay focused on achieving a healthy, confident smile.
Insurance Claims
We can direct bill your insurance company and our administrative team is happy to assist you in understanding your insurance plan better. Please bring any insurance with you to your first appointment.
Payment Methods
The full treatment cost (or the patient portion if direct-billing to your insurance) must be paid at the time of your appointment. We accept payment by cash, debit or most major credit cards.
Support for Anxious Patients
It’s completely normal to feel anxious or nervous about visiting the dentist, and for some, that fear can make it hard to get the care they need.
At Lakeside Dental, we understand these concerns and offer a range of options, including dental sedation, to help you feel calm and comfortable throughout your visit.
